Welcoming Ryan Waters to Self Gen Connect as Non-Executive Director, Data & Product

We’re delighted to welcome Ryan Waters, currently Head of Data at Admiral Money, to Self Gen Connect Ltd (SGC) as a Non-Executive Director, taking on the role of Data & Product Director.

Ryan is an experienced data leader with a proven track record in turning complex information into strategic advantage. At Admiral Money, he has built strong data and product functions that deliver actionable insight, operational efficiency, and customer trust — all underpinned by secure and compliant data practices.

With Admiral Money’s full support, Ryan joins SGC to help drive the evolution of our sgcSmart Data and Smart Connect platforms. His expertise will strengthen our ability to manage and protect data responsibly while developing products that deliver measurable value to our customers and partners.

• Oversee the evolution of sgcSmart Data — ensuring it remains a trusted, high-performance platform connecting consumers, installers, and energy providers.

• Advise the leadership team on aligning technology, compliance, and innovation to drive sustainable growth.
